Projects

Here is a list of some of the projects that I have been involved in that are not part of my research.

WITS Project (http://gicl.cs.drexel.edu/data2/GICL/people/ib29/wits)
This was my software engineering project in 2003/2004. It was a two term venture that is normally taken by seniors in Computer Science in their senior year and is a team project that involves the complete software design process (requirements, design, implementation). I worked with a great team made up mostly of my fellow GICL'ers. The result was that the project received first place within the department of Computer Science among all other software engineering projects for the cycle. The Wireless Internet Tutoring System (WITS) is a client-server application that is build in Java that runs on Smart Phones (such as the Treo 600) and allows multiple users to communicate mathematical ideas between each other any place, any time.

Spengster Dictionary (http://www.spengster.com/dict)
The Spanish/English dictionary that I wrote back in high school. It is pretty bad as I have not updated it in many years despite promises on the web page to get to it someday. This was an interesting venture into GUI programming at the time. Later, the web site turned into a guinea pig for my initial PHP and MySql experiments.
